Superior people never make long visits | B |
have to be shown Longfellow's grave | C |
nor the glass flowers at Harvard | D |
Self reliant like the cat | E |
that takes its prey to privacy | F |
the mouse's limp tail hanging like a shoelace from its mouth | G |
they sometimes enjoy solitude | H |
and can be robbed of speech | I |
by speech which has delighted them | J |
The deepest feeling always shows itself in silence | K |
not in silence but restraint | L |
Nor was he insincere in saying 'Make my house your inn' | M |
Inns are not residences | N |
