Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE AGHI

The Spring will come when the year turnsA
As if no Winter had beenB
But what shall I do with a locked heartC
That lets no new year inB
-
The birds will go when the Fall goesD
The leaves will fade in the fieldE
But what shall I do with an old loveF
Will neither die nor yieldE
-
Oh youth will turn as the world turnsA
And dim grow laughter and painG
But how shall I hide from an old dreamH
I never may dream againI
