The Trees Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF

When on the spring's enchanting blueA
You trace your slender leaves and fewA
Then do I wish myself re bornB
To lands of hope to lands of mornB
-
And when you wear your rich attireC
Your autumn garments touched with fireC
I want again that ardent soulD
That dared the race and dreamed the goalD
-
But oh when leafless dark and highE
You rise against this winter skyE
I hear God's word Stand still and seeF
How fair is mine austerityF
