More And More Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEC FGHIH JKLM NC OPQRE QS

More and more frequently the edgesA
of me dissolve and I becomeB
a wish to assimilate the world includingC
you if possible through the skinD
like a cool plant's tricks with oxygenE
and live by a harmless green burningC
-
I would not consumeF
you or everG
finish you would still be thereH
surrounding me completeI
as the airH
-
Unfortunately I don't have leavesJ
Instead I have eyesK
and teeth and other non greenL
things which rule out osmosisM
-
So be careful I mean itN
I give you fair warningC
-
This kind of hunger drawsO
everything into its ownP
space nor can weQ
talk it all over have a calmR
rational discussionE
-
There is no reason for this onlyQ
a starved dog's logic about bonesS
