The night I saw Something
Was the night she saw something
I dove under the covers
Because she saw something
Then I saw Something
In the Dark you can sometimes see something
See something that you didn’t see
That figure standing there
She said pointing at a curtain
I did see something but I wasn’t what she see
I saw a lamp with a blanket
“No” She argued. It’s a person.
“Idiot”, I muttered
She saw something I didn’t see
“It’s Just Apollo.”
“Apollo?” She didn’t see something I saw
“He’s at the foot of you bed.”
I kicked my feet
She saw something I didn’t see
“Close your damn Eyeballs!” I hissed
“It makes it worse.”
I did see something
She saw something I didn’t see
The night we saw something
Was the Night we didn’t see anything at all.
