Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADAADEE| Mine eyes are filled today with old amaze | A |
| At mountains and at meadows deftly strewn | B |
| With bits of the gay jewelry of June | B |
| And of her splendid vesture and agaze | A |
| I stand where Spring her bright brocade of days | A |
| Embroidered o'er and listen to the flow | C |
| Of sudden runlets the faint blasts they blow | C |
| Low on their stony bugles in still ways | A |
| For wonders are at one confederate yet | D |
| Yea where the wearied year came to a close | A |
| An odor reminiscent of the rose | A |
| And everywhere her seal has Summer set | D |
| And as of old in the horizon sky | E |
| The sun can find a lovely place to die | E |
