Touchstones Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABABA

Hearts that have cheered us ever night and dayA
With words that helped us on the rugged wayA
The hard long road of life to whom is dueB
More than the heart can ever hope to payA
Are they not touchstones soul transmuting trueB
All thoughts to gold refining thus the clayA
