Touches Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDECCE

In heavens of riveted blue that sunset dyesA
With glaucous flame deep in the west the DayB
Stands Midas like or wading on his wayB
Touches with splendor all the twilight skiesA
Each cloud that like a stepping stone he triesA
With rosy foot transforms its sober grayB
To burning gold while ray on crystal rayB
Within his wake the stars like bubbles riseA
So should the artist in his work accordC
All things with beauty and communicateD
His soul's high magic and divinityE
To all he does and hoping no rewardC
Toil onward making darkness aureateC
With light of worlds that are and worlds to beE
