Too Late Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABBACDCEFG

I looked upon a dead girl's face and heardA
What seemed the voice of Love call unto meB
Out of her heart whereon the characteryC
Of her lost dreams I read there word for wordA
How on her soul no soul had touched or stirredA
Her Life's sad depths to rippling melodyB
Or made the imaged longing there to beB
The realization of a hope deferredA
So in her life had Love behaved to herC
Between the lonely chapters of her yearsD
And her young eyes making no golden blurC
With god bright face and hair who led me toE
Her side at last and bade me through my tearsF
With Death's dumb face too late to see and knowG
