The Sirens Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

Wail wail and smite your lyres' sonorous goldA
And beckon naked beauty from the seaB
In arms and breasts and hips of godly moldA
Dark strangling hair carousing to the kneeB
-
In vain in vain and dull in unclosed earsC
To one loved voice sweet calling o'er the foamD
Which in my heart like some strong hand appearsC
To gently firmly draw my vessel homeD
