The Place Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDCD E FFGHGH E DDIJIK

Wherein is it so beautifulA
In all things dim and all things coolB
In silence that is built of leavesC
And wind and spray of waterfallD
And golden as the half ripe sheavesC
In light that is not light at allD

Wherein is it like joy and springF
In petaled musk and singing wingF
In dreams that come like butterfliesG
And moths dim winged with downy greyH
And myths that watch with bark brown eyesG
Beauty who sleeps beside the wayH

-
Wherein heart is it all in allD
In what to me did there befallD
The echo of a word once saidI
That haunts it still like some sweet ghostJ
Youth's rapture bright and gold of headI
And the wild love there found and lostK
