The Name On The Tree Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAAAAACADBDBDEDDD FDGHGBGGGGGIG

I saw a name carved on a treeA
'Julia'B
A simpler name there could not beA
JuliaB
But seeing it I seemed to seeA
A Devon garden pleasantlyA
About a parsonage the beeA
Made drowsy sweet where rosemaryA
And pink and phlox and peonyA
Bowed down to oneC
Whom Herrick made to bloom in PoetryA
A moment there I saw her standD
JuliaB
A gillyflower in her handD
JuliaB
And then kind faced and big and blandD
As raised by some magician's wandE
Herrick himself passed by sun tannedD
And smiling and the quiet landD
Seemed to take on and understandD
A dream long dreamedF
And for the lives of two some gladness plannedD
And then I seemed to hear a sighG
'Julia 'H
And someone softly walking nighG
JuliaB
The leaves shook and a butterflyG
Trailed past and through the sleepy skyG
A bird flew crying strange its cryG
Then suddenly before my eyeG
Two lovers strolled They knew not whyG
I looked amazedI
But I had seen old ghosts of long dead loves go byG
