Rhyme Scheme: AABBAA CCAACC AADDAA EEFFEE AAGGDD HHDDHH AADDA

Woods of wonder wonder waysA
Where the Faery Piper playsA
Bidding all to up and followB
Over haunted hill and hollowB
And behold again the FaysA
Whirling in a moonlit mazeA
-
He whom once our Childhood knewC
Piper of the Dream come trueC
Who with music reared us towersA
Of Adventure where the HoursA
Wove enchantments peopled tooC
With the deeds of Daring doC
-
Oh to hear the pipe he blowsA
Saying all of Let's SupposeA
Who once bade us brave the dangerD
Of the Dragon for the strangerD
Princess who to tell her woesA
Dropped from her high Tower a roseA
-
She for whom we would have diedE
To whose Tower the pipe was guideE
And from Witchcraft's power deliveredF
How the dungeon tower shiveredF
When our trumpet blast defiedE
Challenging its giant prideE
-
Oh again to stand and seeA
Vision grow realityA
Hear the Elfland bugles blowingG
And beyond all seeing knowingG
Gallop to our emperyD
There again in Fa rieD
-
Oh again to leave regretH
Fever of the world and fretH
Tears and loss and work and worryD
For the Land of Song and StoryD
For that Land none can forgetH
Of which Thought is minion yetH
-
Woods of wonder wonder waysA
Where the Faery Piper playsA
Saying 'Quit your melancholyD
Leave the world of work and follyD
Follow me to where the FaysA
Trip it as in Childhood's days '-
