The Cry Of Earth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFEEGGHHII

THE Season speaks this year of lifeA
Confusing words of strifeA
Suggesting weeds instead of fruits and flowersB
In all Earth's bowersB
With heart of Jael face of RuthC
She goes her way uncouthC
Through hills and fields where fog and sunset seemD
Wild smoke and steamD
Around her spotted as a leopard skinE
She draws her cloak of whinE
And through the dark hills sweeps dusk's last red glareF
Wild on her hairF
Her hands drip leaves like blood and burnE
With frost her moony urnE
She lifts where Death 'mid driving stress and stormG
Rears his gaunt formG
And all night long she seems to sayH
'Come forth my Winds and slayH
And everywhere is heard the wailing cryI
Of dreams that dieI
