At last he joined the Brotherhood of Murder | B |
And rose in his profession lived a herder | B |
Of crime in some dark tavern of the ditches | C |
There was a war He went Became a gunner | B |
And slew as soldiers should his many a hundred | D |
In authorized and most professional manner | B |
Here he advanced again Was starred a oner | B |
Was captained pensioned and nobody wondered | E |
And lived and died respectable as a tanner | B |
