In pale celestial armour as for war | C |
Into the heaven flaming from afar | B |
The Northern Lights their phalanxed splendours led | A |
Night for the moment seemed to catch her breath | D |
And earth gazed silent with astonishment | E |
As spear on spear the auroral armies came | F |
As when triumphant over hell and death | D |
The victor angels thronged God's firmament | E |
With sword on sword and burning oriflamme | F |
