Spring Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEFDFFGGGG

First Came the rain loud with sonorous lipsA
A pursuivant who heralded a princeB
And dawn put on her livery of tintsC
And dusk bound gold about her hair and hipsA
And all in silver mail the sunlight cameD
A knight who bade the winter let him passE
And freed imprisoned beauty naked asF
The Court of Love in all her wildflower shameD
And so she came in breeze borne lovelinessF
Across the hills and heav'n bent down to blessF
Above her head the birds were as a lyreG
And at her feet like some strong worshipperG
The shouting water p n'd praise of herG
Who with blue eyes set the wild world on fireG
