Snow And Fire Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAB CDCDCD EFEFEF

Deep hearted roses of the purple duskA
And lilies of the mornB
And cactus holding up a slender tuskA
Of fragrance on a thornB
All heavy flowers sultry with their muskA
Her presence puts to scornB
-
For she is like the pale pale snowdropp thereC
Scentless and chaste of heartD
The moonflower making spiritual the airC
Like some pure work of artD
Divine and holy exquisitely fairC
And virtue's counterpartD
-
Yet when her eyes gaze into mine and whenE
Her lips to mine are pressedF
Why are my veins all fire then and thenE
Why should her soul suggestF
Voluptuous perfumes maddening unto menE
And prurient with unrestF
