IA
-
Oh to see in the night in a May moon's lightB
A nymph from siren cavesC
With a crown of pearl sea gems in each curlD
Dance down white star stained wavesC
Oh to list in the gloam by the pearly foamE
Of a sad far sounding shoreF
The strain of the shell of an ocean belleG
From caves where the waters roarF
With a hollow shell drift up in the moonH
To sigh in my ears this ocean tuneH

IIA
-
Wilt follow wilt follow to caverns hollowI
That echo the tumbling spryA
Wilt follow thy queen to islands greenJ
Vague islands of witcheryA
O follow follow to grottoes hollowI
And isles in a purple seaK
Where rich roses twine and the lush woodbineJ
Weaves a musky canopyK

IIIA
-
Oh to float in the gloam on the bubbly foamE
With her lily face aboveL
Oh to lie in a barque and a wild song harkM
And a billow nymph to loveL
I'd lie at her feet and my heart should beatN
To the music of her sighsO
But the stars in her face my passion should traceP
Unseen all the stars of the skiesO
-
-
IVL
-
Away away with the witch of sprayA
To her Aidenn islands farA
And the blue above drunk mad with loveL
Dance down each singing starA
Leave leave to the heaven its morning starA
In a cloud of bolted snowJ
To laugh at the world and herald farA
Our wedlock and joy belowJ
