Rain And Wind Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDB EFGFHF IJKJLJ IMNMOM PQFQRS

I hear the hoofs of horsesA
Galloping over the hillB
Galloping on and galloping onC
When all the night is shrillB
With wind and rain that beats the paneD
And my soul with awe is stillB
-
For every dripping windowE
Their headlong rush makes boundF
Galloping up and galloping byG
Then back again and aroundF
Till the gusty roofs ring with their hoofsH
And the draughty cellars soundF
-
And then I hear black horsemenI
Hallooing in the nightJ
Hallooing and hallooingK
They ride o'er vale and heightJ
And the branches snap and the shutters clapL
With the fury of their flightJ
-
Then at each door a horsemanI
With burly bearded lipM
Hallooing through the keyholeN
Pauses with cloak a dripM
And the door knob shakes and the panel quakesO
'Neath the anger of his whipM
-
All night I hear their gallopP
And their wild halloo's alarmQ
The tree tops sound and vanes go roundF
In forest and on farmQ
But never a hair of a thing is thereR
Only the wind and stormS
