Quiet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGFG HIHI JKJK

A Log Hut in the solitudeA
A clapboard roof to rest beneathB
This side the shadow haunted woodC
That side the sunlight haunted heathB
-
At daybreak Morn shall come to meD
In raiment of the white winds spunE
Slim in her rosy hand the keyD
That opes the gateway of the sunE
-
Her smile shall help my heart enoughF
With love to labour all the dayG
And cheer the road whose rocks are roughF
With her smooth footprints each a rayG
-
At dusk a voice shall call afarH
A lone voice like the whippoorwill'sI
And on her shimmering brow one starH
Night shall descend the western hillsI
-
She at my door till dawn shall standJ
With gothic eyes that dark and deepK
Are mirrors of a mystic landJ
Fantastic with the towns of sleepK
