Out Of The Depths Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABABAAA C DEAFAFDD C GGHBHBGG

Let me forget her faceA
So fresh so lovely the abiding placeA
Of tears and smiles that won my heart to herB
Of dreams and moods that moved my soul's dim deepsA
As strong winds stirB
Dark waters where the starlight glimmering sleepsA
In every lineament the mind can traceA
Let me forget her faceA

Let me forget her formD
Soft and seductive that contained each charmE
Each grace the sweet word maidenhood impliesA
And all the sensuous youth of line and curveF
That makes men's eyesA
Bondsmen of beauty eager still to serveF
In every part that memory can warmD
Let me forget her formD

-
Let me forget her GodG
Her who made honeyed love a bitter rodG
To scourge my heart with barren with despairH
To tear my soul with sick with vain desireB
Oh hear my prayerH
Out of the hell of love's unquenchable fireB
I cry to thee with face against the sodG
Let me forget her GodG
