Meeting And Parting Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCCB DECC FGGBHHHB IJKK

When from the tower like some sweet flowerA
The bell drops petals of the hourA
That says the world is homingB
My heart puts off its garb of careC
And clothes itself in gold and vairC
And hurries forth to meet her thereC
Within the purple gloamingB
-
It's Oh how slow the hours goD
How dull the moments moveE
Till soft and clear the bells I hearC
That say like music in my earC
'Go meet the one you love '-
-
IIF
When curved and white a bugle brightG
The moon blows glamour through the nightG
That sets the world a dreamingB
My heart where gladness late was guestH
Puts off its joy as to my breastH
At parting her dear form is pressedH
Within the moon's faint gleamingB
-
It's Oh how fast the hours passedI
They were not slow enoughJ
Too soon too soon the sinking moonK
Says to my soul like some sad tuneK
'Come part from her you love '-
