March Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABBCABBCBBBBBB| This is the tomboy month of all the year | A |
| March who comes shouting o'er the winter hills | B |
| Waking the world with laughter as she wills | B |
| Or wild halloos a windflower in her ear | C |
| She stops a moment by the half thawed mere | A |
| And whistles to the wind and straightway shrills | B |
| The hyla's song and hoods of daffodils | B |
| Crowd golden round her leaning their heads to hear | C |
| Then through the woods that drip with all their eaves | B |
| Her mad hair blown about her loud she goes | B |
| Singing and calling to the naked trees | B |
| And straight the oilets of the little leaves | B |
| Open their eyes in wonder rows on rows | B |
| And the first bluebird bugles to the breeze | B |
