Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

She is so dear the wildflowers nearA
Each path she passes byB
Are over fain to kiss againC
Her feet and then to dieB
-
She is so fair the wild birds thereD
That sing upon the boughE
Have learned the staff of her sweet laughF
And sing no other nowE
-
Alas that she should never seeG
Should never care to knowH
The wildflower's love the bird's aboveI
And his who loves her soH
