In Late Fall Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDED FGFG

Such days as break the wild bird's heartA
Such days as kill it and its songsB
A death which knows a sweeter partA
Of days to which such death belongsB
-
And now old eyes are filled with tearsC
As with the rain the frozen flowersD
Time moves so slowly one but fearsE
The burthen on his wasted powersD
-
And so he stopped and thou art deadF
And that is found which once was fearedG
A farewell to thy gray gray headF
A goodnight to thy goodly beardG
