High On A Hill Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBBBBBCDECDE

There is a place among the Cape Ann hillsA
That looks from fir dark summits on the seaB
Whose surging sapphire changes constantlyB
Beneath deep heavens Morning windowsillsB
With golden calm or sunset citadelsB
With storm whose towers the winds' confederacyB
And bandit thunder hold in rebel feeB
Swooping upon the ilsher's sail that swellsB
A place where Sorrow ceases to complainC
And life's old Cares put all their burdens byD
And Weariness forgets itself in restE
Would that all life were like it might obtainC
Its pure repose its outlook strong and highD
That sees beyond far Islands of the BlestE
