Halloween Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAB BBA CCCB BBC DDDEEEF GGHIIIG

All hushed of gleeA
The last chill beeA
Clings wearilyA
To the dying asterB
-
The leaves dropp fasterB
And all around red as disasterB
The forest crimsons with tree on treeA
-
A butterflyC
The last to dieC
Wings heavily byC
Weighed down with torporB
-
The air grows sharperB
And the wind in the trees like some sad harperB
Sits and sorrows with sigh on sighC
-
The far crows callD
The acorns fallD
And over allD
The Autumn raisesE
Dun mists and hazesE
Through which her soul it seemeth gazesE
On ghosts and dreams in carnivalF
-
The end is nearG
The dying YearG
Leans low to hearH
Her own heart breakingI
And Beauty takingI
Her flight and all my dreams forsakingI
My soul bowed down 'mid the sad and sereG
