Gray November Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDC E BDDBAFFA E ACCAGAAG

Dull dimly gleamingA
The dawn looks downwardB
Where flowing townwardB
The river steamingA
With mist is hiddenC
Each bush that huddlesD
Beside the road the rain has pooled with puddlesD
Seems in the fog a hag or thing hag riddenC
-
IIE
-
Where leaves hang tatteredB
In forest tanglesD
And woodway anglesD
Are acorn scatteredB
Coughing and yawningA
The woodsman slouchesF
Or stands as silent as the hound that crouchesF
Beside him ghostly in the mist drenched dawningA
-
IIIE
-
Through roses rottingA
Within the gardenC
With blooms that hardenC
Of marigolds knottingA
Each one an emberG
Dull dead and drippingA
Her brow from which their faded wreath is slippingA
Mantled in frost and fog comes in NovemberG
