Gertrude Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDBBEEFGHII

When first I gazed on GERTRUDE'S faceA
Beheld her loveliness and graceA
Her brave gray eyes her raven hairB
Her ways more winsome than the kissC
Spring gives the flowers her smile that isD
Brighter than all the summer airB
Made sweet with birds I did declareB
And still declare there is no oneE
No girl beneath the moon or sunE
So beautiful to look uponF
And to my thoughts that on her dwellG
Nothing seems more desirableH
Not OPHIR gold nor ORIENT pearlsI
Than seems this jewel girl of girlsI
