For The Old Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDC

These are the things I pray Heaven send us stillA
To blow the ashes of the years awayB
Or keep aglow forever 'neath their grayB
The fire that warms when Life's old house grows chillA
First Faith that gazed into our youth's bright eyesC
Courage that helped us onward rain or sunD
Then Hope who captained all our deeds well doneD
And last the dream of Love that never diesC
