Enchantment Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABBADEFDEF

The deep seclusion of this forest pathA
O'er which the green boughs weave a canopyB
Along which bluet and anemoneC
Spread dim a carpet where the Twilight hathA
Her cool abode and sweet as aftermathA
Wood fragrance roams has so enchanted meB
That yonder blossoming bramble seems to beB
A Sylvan resting rosy from her bathA
Has so enspelled me with tradition's dreamsD
That every foam white stream that twinkling flowsE
And every bird that flutters wings of tanF
Or warbles hidden to my fancy seemsD
A Naiad dancing to a Faun who blowsE
Wild woodland music on the pipes of PanF
