Deserted Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

THE old house leans upon a treeA
Like some old man upon a staffB
The night wind in its ancient porchC
Sounds like a hollow laughB
-
The heaven is wrapped in flying cloudsD
As grandeur cloaks itself in grayE
The starlight flitting in and outF
Glints like a lanthorn rayE
-
The dark is full of whispers NowG
A fox hound howls and through the nightH
Like some old ghost from out its graveI
The moon comes misty whiteH
