Clouds Of The Autumn Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABA CDCDC EFEGE DHDID JKJKJ

Clouds of the autumn nightA
Under the hunter's moonB
Ghostly and windy whiteA
Whither like leaves wild strewnB
Take ye your stormy flightA
-
Out of the west where duskC
From her rich windowsillD
Leaned with a wand of tuskC
Witch like and wood and hillD
Phantomed with mist and muskC
-
Into the east where mornE
Sleeps in a shadowy closeF
Shut with a gate of hornE
'Round which the dreams she knowsG
Flutter with rose and thornE
-
Blow from the west oh blowD
Clouds that the tempest steersH
And with your rain and snowD
Bear of my heart the tearsI
And of my soul the woeD
-
Into the east then passJ
Clouds that the night winds sweepK
And on her grave's sear grassJ
There where she lies asleepK
There let them fall alasJ
