Serves God's high purpose here on Earth to build | G |
More than War's maimed and killed | G |
The Hebetude of asses following still | H |
Some Emperor's will to kill | H |
Is that of men who give their lives for what | I |
The privilege to be shot | J |
Grant men more vision Lord to read thy words | K |
That are not guns and swords | L |
But trees and flowers lovely forms of Earth | M |
And all fair things of worth | M |
So he may rise above the brute and snake | N |
And of his reason make | N |
A world befitting as thou hast designed | O |
His greater soul and mind | O |
So he may rid himself of worm and beast | P |
And sit with Love at feast | P |
And make him worthy to be named thy son | Q |
