Broken Music Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBCDDCEFFGHIIH

There it lies broken as a shardA
What breathed sweet music yesterdayB
The source all mute has passed awayB
With its masked meanings still unmarredB
But melody will never ceaseC
Above the vast cerulean seaD
Of heaven created harmonyD
Rings and re echoes its releaseC
So this dumb instrument that liesE
All powerless with spirit flownF
Beyond the veil of the UnknownF
To chant its love hymned litaniesG
Though it may thrill us here no moreH
With cadenced strain in other spheresI
Will rise above the vanquished yearsI
And breathe its music as beforeH
