Apocalypse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

Before I found her I had foundA
Within my heart as in a brookB
Reflections of her now a soundA
Of imaged beauty now a lookB
-
So when I found her gazing inC
Those Bibles of her eyes aboveD
All earth I read no word of sinC
Their holy chapters all were loveD
-
I read them through I read and sawE
The soul impatient of the sodF
Her soul that through her eyes did drawE
Mine to the higher love of GodF
