Announcement Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAB CCC DDD EEE FFF GGG HHH IIJ

The night is loud with reeds of rainA
Rejoicing at my window paneA
And murmuring 'Spring comes again 'B
-
I hear the wind take up their songC
And on the sky's vibrating gongC
Beat out and roar it all night longC
-
Then waters where they pour their mightD
In foam halloo it down the nightD
From vale to vale and height to heightD
-
And I thank God that down the deepE
She comes her ancient tryst to keepE
With Earth again who wakes from sleepE
-
From death and sleep that held her fastF
So long pale cerements round her castF
Her penetential raiment vastF
-
Now Lazarus like within her graveG
She stirs who hears the words that saveG
The Christ like words of wind and waveG
-
And hearing bids her soul prepareH
The germs of blossoms in her thereH
To make her body sweet and fairH
-
To meet in manifest audienceI
The eyes of Spring and reverenceI
With beauty God in soul and senseJ
