After Storm Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FGHG IJIJ

Great clouds of sullen seal and goldA
Bar bleak the tawny westB
From which all day the thunder rolledA
And storm streamed crest on crestB
-
Now silvery in its deeps of bronzeC
The new moon fills its sphereD
And point by point the darkness donsC
Its pale stars there and hereE
-
But still behind the moon and starsF
The peace of heaven remainsG
Suspicion of the wrath that warsH
That Nature now restrainsG
-
As lined 'neath tiger eyelids glareI
The wild beast eyes that sleepJ
So smoulders in its sunset lairI
The rage that rent the deepJ
