Rhyme Scheme: AABCCD EEFGGH IIJKKJ LLMNNM

These are the facts I was to blameA
I brought her here and wrought her shameA
She came with me all trustinglyB
Lovely and innocent her faceC
And in her perfect form the graceC
Of purity and modestyD
-
I think I loved her then 'would doteE
On her ambrosial breast and throatE
Young as a blossom's tendernessF
Her eyes that were both glad and sadG
Her cheeks and chin that dimples hadG
Her mouth red ripe to kiss and kissH
-
Three months passed by three moons of fireI
When in me sickened all desireI
And in its place a devil whoJ
Filled all my soul with deep disgustK
And on the victim of my lustK
Turned eyes of loathing swiftly grewJ
-
One night when by my side she sleptL
I rose and leaning while I keptL
The dagger hid I kissed her hairM
And throat and when she smiled asleepN
Into her heart I drove it deepN
And left her dead still smiling thereM
