Would You Care? Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHBHIEJE KLMLFENE

All day on my pillow I wearily layA
With a stabbing pain at my heartB
With throbbing temples and a feverish thirstC
Burning my lips apartB
If I longed for a touch of your soft strong handD
For you one little minute thereE
For a smile or a kiss or a word to blessF
Would you blame me love would you careE
-
When the long long lonesome day was doneG
And you never for a moment cameH
If I tried to shut you out of my heartB
Impatient at your nameH
If disappointment's bitter stingI
Was harder than pain to bearE
If I turned away with a doubting frownJ
Would you blame me love would you careE
-
Should I die to night and you saw me notK
Again till my soul had fledL
With its vain request and my features woreM
The white hue of the deadL
Would you place just once in a last caressF
Your hand on my death damp hairE
Would you give me a thought or a fond regretN
Would you kiss me love would you careE
