To Sanson (09) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDBCDEF EFGGAAD

O love do not call me a starA
'Tis too cold and bright and too farA
Away from your arms I would beB
The life drops that flow in your veinsC
The pulses that throb in your heartD
My bosom should be the warm seaB
Of forgetfulness tinged with the stainsC
Of the sunset when day dreams departD
You should drink at its fountain of kissesE
Drink mad of its fathomless deepF
-
Submerged in an ocean of blissesE
I'd be something to kiss and to keepF
Loving and tender and trueG
I'd be nearer oh nearer to youG
Than the glittering meteors areA
Then love do not call me a starA
REVENITAD
