To Sanson (07) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEEFFGG CCHHIICI've a beautiful home where I live in my dreams | A |
So joyous and happy an Eden it seems | A |
All beautiful things in nature and are | B |
Are blending to rapture the mind and the heart | C |
No discords to jar no dissensions arise | D |
'Tis calm as Italia's ever blue skies | D |
When kissed by the bright rosy blush of the morn | E |
And a voice of the spheres on the breezes is borne | E |
Soft as the murmur of sea tinted shells | F |
Sweet as the chiming of far away bells | F |
And grief cannot enter nor trouble nor care | G |
And the proud peerless prince of my soul he is there | G |
- | |
In my beautiful home from the cold world apart | C |
He holds me so close to his fast beating heart | C |
More enchanting his voice than the syren wrapt song | H |
O'er the wind dimpled ocean soft floating along | H |
As he whispers his love in love's low passioned tone | I |
Such home and such lover no other has known | I |
REVENITA | C |
