O, Speak It Not Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCAADDEFFG

O speak not hastily the wordA
Thine ear from idle tongues has heardA
If false the tale thou couldst recallB
How hard and cruel must it fallB
If true why helping it alongC
Will never never right the wrongC
O speak it not not speak the wordA
That wounds though but in jest 'tis heardA
Keep back the thrust the look askanceD
The petty doubt the sneering glanceD
Keep back the taunts and jeersE
Life has enough of breaking heartsF
Of pointed barbs and venomed dartsF
Enough of pain and tearsG
