Estrangement Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJKJK

Only a something light as airA
Which never words could tellB
Yet feel you that between your livesC
A cloud has strangely fellB
Though never a change in look or toneD
A change your heart is grievingE
You sentient feel the friend you loveF
Has deemed you are deceivingE
-
A promise rashly given has boundG
Your lips the truth to screenH
The nameless something gathers fastI
As mist the hills betweenH
You wrap you in your cloak of prideJ
The words are never spokenK
That might have thrown the portal wideJ
And friendship's tie is brokenK
