A Shattered Idol Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJKLK

O blame me not for the cruel wordsA
In a moment of madness saidB
The shadow that fell upon my lifeC
Is cold as the shrouded deadB
Deem not I am hard and heartlessD
My tears are as warm as thineE
'Twas clay that I crowned and worshippedF
And wept o'er its crumbled shrineE
-
To me my passionate deathless soulG
Was less than his finger tipsH
He turned away fro the gold of my loveI
For the dross on a wanton's lipsH
My faith in his truth is brokenJ
Even truth itself is a lieK
I have cursed him but I love himL
And I'll love him till I dieK
