A Picture Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDCEE FGHIJI

A little maid with sweet brown eyesA
Upraised to mine in sad surpriseA
I held two tiny hands in mineB
I kissed the little maid farewellC
Her cheeks to deeper crimson flushedD
The sweet shy glances downward fellC
From rosy lips came ah so lowE
I love you do not goE
-
I see it through the lapse of yearsF
This picture ofttimes blurred with tearsG
No tiny hands in mine are heldH
No sweet brown eyes my pulses wakeI
Only in memory a voiceJ
E'er bids me stay for love's sweet sakeI
