| A precious picture set in frame of gold | D |

| Of piety A heritage of fame | J |
| And the rich culture of her early years | K |
| Wrought no contempt for woman's household care | L |
| But gave it dignity Order was hers | M |
| And system and an industry that weighed | D |
| The priceless value of each fleeting hour | N |
| Hers was a charm of manner felt by all | O |
| A reference for authorities that marked | D |
| The olden time and that true courtesy | A |
| Which made the aged happy | A |

| That she was of their number or the links | P |
| Of threescore years and ten indeed had wound | D |
| Their coil around her with such warmth the heart | D |
| And cloudless mind retained their energies | Q |
| Beauty and grace were with her to the last | D |
