Rhyme Scheme: A BCDDC EFGGF HDIID JKLLK

Daughter of LUCIUS F ROBINSON and Mrs ELIZA S ROBINSON died at Hartford Wednesday April th aged years and monthsA
-
-
Dids't hear him call my beautifulB
The Sire so fond and dearC
Who ere the last moon's waning rayD
Pass'd in his prime of days awayD
And hath not left his peerC
-
Say beckoning from yon silver cloudE
Though none beside might seeF
A hand that erst with love and prideG
Its little daughter's steps would guideG
Stretch'd out that hand for theeF
-
The wreathing buds of snowy roseH
That o'er thy bosom layD
Were symbols in their beauty paleI
Of thy young life so sweet and frailI
And all unstain'd as theyD
-
Oh stricken hearts bear up bear onJ
Think of your Saviour's graceK
Think of the spirit welcome givenL
When at the pearly gate of HeavenL
Father and child embraceK
