Twilight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDECC

From vales of dawn hath Day pursued the NightA
Who mocking fled swift sandalled to the westB
Nor ever lingered in her wayward flightA
With dusk eyed glance to recompense his questB
But over crocus hills and meadows grayC
Sped fleetly on her wayC
-
Now when the Day shorn of his failing strengthD
Hath fallen spent before the sunset barsE
The fair wild Night with pity touched at lengthD
Crowned with her chaplet of out blossoming starsE
Creeps back repentantly upon her wayC
To kiss the dying DayC
